Jerry Goldsmith Award for “Caminandes: Gran Dillama”!

I’m honored and proud to announce that my score for the animated short film Caminandes: Gran Dillama has won a Jerry Goldsmith Award in the category of Best Score for an Animated Short Film at this year’s International Film Music Festival in Córdoba, Spain! The film marks my second collaboration with the talented team around director and 3D artist Pablo Vazquez, and I’m grateful that they gave me the opportunity to be inspired by their work.

The win was announced in a ceremony that took place in the beautiful renaissance town of Córdoba on July 24th. Among the attending guests of the festival were award-winning composers Abel Korzeniowski, Christopher Lennertz, Debbie Wiseman, and Rolfe Kent.

I am very grateful to the jury and the festival organizers for the recognition of my work and sincerely hope for Gran Dillama and its predecessor, Llama Drama, to be only the beginning of an exciting collaboration with Pablo and his team!
